Keri Murschell ’94

Keri Murschell '94

Growing up as the youngest of four girls, Keri Murschell learned early to lean on humor and a sense of positivity to work through life’s challenges. Keri has always been a versatile player but never a superstar in any one discipline.  She believes that a good dose of perseverance, understanding the value of failure and emotional intelligence has led her to experience great happiness in life.

After graduating from Providence College in 1994, Keri worked in IT consulting sales for nine years until she realized it was not her passion.  As a soon to be new mom, there was one memorable commute home on i76 in Philadelphia in 2002, that changed her life for the next 14 years.  Oprah Winfrey was on the radio talking about finding your “passion”.  At that time Keri’s passion was golf, style, and travel so she pulled on those aspirations to create, keri golf.

keri golf was a women’s golf brand that challenged the traditional golf bag market, the designs were whimsical and fun.  After five years of being in business, keri golf was selected as one of O Magazine’s favorite things.  The feature in O Magazine got the attention of Adams Golf in 2008.  keri golf partnered with Adams Golf for the next several years and was eventually sold to Adams Golf.  Shortly after that acquisition, Adams Golf was acquired by TaylorMade-Adidas where Keri led the women’s and accessories division.

In 2014, Keri had an opportunity to change industries again and take on the challenge of product development and innovation for NRG, the largest retail energy company in the US.  She is now focused on strategic partnerships with some of the world’s largest auto manufacturers to develop energy plans for the electric vehicle industry.

Keri has been married to her husband, Wayne, for over 22 years and they live in Haddonfield, NJ.  Together they still love to play golf and spend time with their daughter, Mary Kate (21), and a son, Matt (19).
